Proposal · Dartmouth Square, South End
Gabe & Morgan
"He picked the quietest corner of the South End. She never saw him coming."
Gabe found me on Google and reached out about a quiet, low-key proposal somewhere in the South End. He didn't want a big public moment — he wanted somewhere that felt like theirs. We talked through a few options and landed on Dartmouth Square, this small tree-lined park tucked between the brownstones where you can almost forget you're in the middle of the city. The week before, we walked through the timing together — when to arrive, where I'd be standing, how he'd guide Morgan to the right spot without giving anything away. On the day, he played it perfectly. She walked into the square thinking they were heading to brunch. Instead, Gabe stopped, turned, and asked the question. The afternoon light through the bare February trees made everything look softer than it had any right to.
“Helped come up with backup plans in case of inclement weather. On the day of, he was right on time.”
