Planning from out of state
When you can't scout the spot yourself, the plan has to be exact: a pier they'd naturally walk, a time when the harbor light goes golden, and a meeting point Ethan could find on a phone without looking like he was looking for something. I sent him the position in advance and was set up well before they arrived.
The moment
He knelt, Ariana said yes, and I didn't miss a moment of it — the seconds before, the knee, the reaction, the celebrating. Her reaction said everything, which is why the gallery opens on it.

Afterward we walked along the pier as the excitement settled into something warm: the two of them on the waterfront, a candid moment, a proper portrait with the harbor behind them. A whole engagement gallery from a trip that was supposed to be a vacation.
