I told him not to worry. I'd arrived early to scope the area, so I just adjusted on the fly. He led Hailey to the Seaport, dropped to one knee, and she said yes. The plan flexed. The moment didn't.

I'd already been at the Seaport for an hour, so when his timing shifted I just adjusted on the fly. He led Hailey to the spot, dropped to one knee, and she said yes — completely surprised. The plan flexed; the moment didn't. By the time we wrapped portraits along the waterfront, you'd never have known anything was off.
