Proposal · Boston Public Garden
Cormac & Flor
"Late spring in the Public Garden — and a question Flor never saw coming."
Late May is when the Public Garden shows off — willows heavy and green over the lagoon, swan boats out on the water, every path framed in spring bloom. That's exactly why Cormac picked it. He reached out a few weeks ahead and we built the plan together: the route he'd walk with Flor, the timing, and exactly where I'd be tucked away so she wouldn't clock a photographer pointing a lens her way. That's the part couples worry about most, and it's the part I take off their plate entirely. On the day I got there early and disappeared into the crowd of camera-carrying tourists — the Public Garden makes that easy. Cormac brought Flor in for what looked like a simple spring stroll, and she had no idea anything was happening until he stopped walking and reached for the ring. Everything went exactly the way we drew it up: no stress, no fumbling, just a question and a yes. Afterward we took our time wandering for portraits — past the willows, along the lagoon, over the bridge — while the two of them got used to the word "engaged." A few days later Flor left the five-star review below, which for a guy who spent the afternoon pretending to photograph ducks is about as good as it gets. One note if you're planning your own: late spring at the Public Garden books up quickly — between the blooms, the boats, and the light, it's the month everyone wants — so reach out early and we'll work out the rest together.
