"Blue water, full sun, and a yes out on the sailboat."
Joshua wanted to propose somewhere that felt like them — out on the water, away from everything. So we took a sailboat into Herring Cove, the sun high and the water that deep Cape Cod blue, and he asked her mid-ride. After the yes, we kept sailing for a while, just letting the afternoon stretch out. Then we pulled in and finished with portraits on the pier. One of those days that didn't need a backup plan.
